In the fall of 2002, CSSE started on a new strategic path leading to many new and exciting things. Responding to a strategic study that looked in depth at not only member needs but as well as the new economic climate, the association landscape and other critical factors, CSSE devised a new strategy that re-focuses on itself on fulfilling membership needs and desires. CSSE has heard loud and clear from members and potential members what they want and CSSE is responding accordingly. In a series of new initiatives, CSSE is striving to be the leading organization for health, safety and lost prevention practitioners. In the upcoming months, new initiatives will be introduced and rolled out. CSSE hopes you will be there to experience these new things initiatives with us together as CSSE strives to be the leader in organizational health and safety.

For the past six years, the CSSE Board of Directors has been promoting a vision of the CSSE as the premier organization for health, safety and environmental specialists. To make our vision a reality we will meet members’ expectations for information, professional development and networking.

After gathering input from our members, we implemented this strategy to reflect their informational and developmental needs, the new economic climate, the association landscape and other critical factors.

This bold new direction will position the CSSE as the leading organization for Canadian health, safety and environmental practitioners.
