Leadership Development for OHSE Professionals

CSSE's Leadership Development for OHSE Professionals program takes participants on a challenging journey pertinent to everyone who has responsibility for Health & Safety: become a better leader and advocate for Health & Safety and lead your company/organization or employer or client in achieving greater H&S performance.

Using models and tools from various renowned sources, participants learn techniques and skills and apply them to a comprehensive case study over the 2-day program. CSSEs Leadership Development for OHSE Professionals challenges participants to learn and apply the essential attributes of Self, Social, and Enterprise Mastery, to account for and integrate multi-culturalism into their H&S planning, and to diagnose and align H&S culture with overall business excellence ultimately leading to the management of enterprise change.

Who Should Attend

  • All those with ultimate responsibility for H&S in their organization
  • Consultants and other Health & Safety Professionals expected to provide leadership in H&S
  • Those responsible for operations & support (e.g. HR) management with a key role in H&S

Pre-requisites

This course is intended for the seasoned professional or individual already expected to provide leadership for Health & Safety and who is open to challenging concepts and ready to experience change. Participants will be expected to have read and worked with pre-course material that is provided to them.

While not mandatory, it is highly recommended that participants take other CSSE courses prior to taking Leadership Development for OHSE Professionals such as Consulting Skills, Obligations & Liabilities of the OHS Professional, Applied Risk Communication, and Measurement and Evaluation in OHS Managed Systems.

The course exam is provided to participants by email within one week of course completion. Participants have 4 weeks from the release date to complete the exam.
