2023-2025 National Board of Directors Open Call

The Canadian Society for Safety Engineering (CSSE) has opened the call for the 2023-2025 National Board of Directors.  Eight members will be elected to serve on the national board beginning in June, 2023.

A proposed slate of candidates has been brought forward.  These individuals are current Board members seeking re-election for their second qualifying term.

All positions are still open for other members to also run, with two vacancies for Directors at Large.

Each running member has a requirement to meet minimum requirements of the position as outlined in the CSSE National Board Leadership and Competency Policy.

Each candidate will be vetted by the CEO and the Executive Director as neutral parties, and to ensure a transparent process to the membership.  The resulting outcome is a competency-based Board to drive the CSSE strategic vision.

As the governing body of CSSE, the Board of Directors leads the organization in its mission to empower the professional development of members by offering relevant value-added OHS training, networking, mentoring, and recognition.
