ArcFlash – An Electrifying Subject

This course explains “why” arc flash apparel and personal protective equipment is required and "when" a full arc flash analysis may not be needed. We will examine key elements of the “voluntary standards” NFPA 70E and the new Canadian version CSA Z462 Workplace Electrical Safety (which will come into effect in 2009).

This course has been awarded:

  • 0.5 MPs by the Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists (CRBOH)
  • 0.5 CMPs by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) for 2 courses in the Seminar Series
  • 0.5 Safety CM Points by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH)
