This important event marks the beginning of a week committed to raising awareness of the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home and in the community. Guests expected to attend the Canadian launch of Safety & Health Week 2018 include dignitaries from all levels of government, along with representatives from CSSE, CCOHS, American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), Threads of Life, provincial departments and agencies responsible for workplace safety in British Columbia, members of the Victoria business community and health and safety professionals.
