Join fellow safety professionals for a lunch and learn with Ross Nairne, from Alberta Labour, for a Bill 30 Overview and Q & A session.

This session will highlight the legislated OH & S changes resulting from Bill 30.  Ross will also be able to field questions from those in attendance after his presentation.  What are some of your questions plauging your day to day duties in relation to Bill 30?  Reply to this email and we can forward those along to Ross as he may be able to incorporate those in to his presentation.

Speaker: Ross Nairne

 

Since 2011, Ross Nairne has been the Executive Director of the Occupational Health and Safety Policy and Program Development Branch with Alberta Labour.  Prior to joining the Alberta Public Service in 2007, he served with the Canadian Forces for over twenty years, where he held a variety of roles as a Commissioned Officer in Canada and overseas. Mr. Nairne holds Master's degrees from the Royal Military College of Canada and the University of Alberta, and is a graduate of the Government of Alberta's Corporate Executive Development Program.  Ross is Alberta’s representative on the Canadian Association of Administrators of Labour Legislation (CAALL) committee on Occupational Health and Safety and was also appointed in 2015 by Alberta and the Federal Governments to the Council of Governors for the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety.
