Rafik Kaci is a passionate advocate for the importance of putting health and safety at the forefront of projects both large and small. Rafik has worked as an electrical engineer for more than 30 years since earning his Master’s in Electrical Engineering in France.

Ashley started off by working in the forestry sector, in sawmills. And then, 10 years ago, she began working at Leavitt Machinery, a materials-handling dealership, as a safety coordinator. A year later, she became the manager of the department.
Tim Bell

It was a chance trip to visit his father that prompted Tim Bell to move from England to Canada in 2015. "My father was a pilot in the air force and he retired to Corpus Christi in Texas and had friends in Niagara that he was going to see. So I came up with him. And I thought, Niagara is an absolutely wonderful part of the world to live in.” Tim had a 30-year career in the oil business in the United Kingdom before moving to St. Catharine’s. He joined the CSSE’s Hamilton Chapter in 2015 and has been an active member ever since.

For 22 years, Dan Suess worked for a petrochemical company in the Greater Toronto Area. He began his career as an instrument mechanic within the industry, but pivoted to health and safety after a tragic event that took the life of a colleague.
