NAOSH Week

North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week is an annual, continent-wide event involving employers, workers, and occupational health and safety specialists promoting injury and illness prevention in the workplace. NAOSH Week began in 1997 as a mutually agreed-upon, annual initiative between Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Each country has since decided to dedicate the first week in May toward supporting — and recognizing — healthier, safer workplaces across North America.

If you’re an employer, NAOSH Week provides an excellent opportunity to focus, reinforce, and strengthen your organization’s commitment to occupational health and safety.
