Board of Directors - Shelley O'Dell

Shelley has worked in the Safety Profession for 25+ years and has achieved her CHSC designation. During her career she has been involved with road construction/paving and the tire industry.  In 2015, Shelley joined WorkSafeNB as a Health & Safety Specialist where she loves being exposed to all sectors of industry and using her vast knowledge and experience to assist employers with their initiatives / programs.

Shelley’s passion for health & safety has also led to her holding volunteer leadership roles in a few organizations. For instance, she has been an active member with the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) for 10+ years where she is on their board of directors (NB chapter). She has helped organize the province’s various NAOSH breakfasts launching H&S week and she is co-chairing the Threads of Life – Steps for Life Walk in greater Saint John.
