The North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week is a continent-wide event spanning the countries of Canada, USA, and Mexico. The goal during the North American Occupational Safety & Health (NAOSH) Week is to focus the attention of employers, employees, partners, and the public on the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home, and in the community.
Steps for Life – May 2, 2021:
Threads of Life is a Canadian charity that provides programs for families affected by a workplace tragedy and shares the importance of workplace incident prevention. The CSSE Northern Light chapter is once again participating in the Saskatoon walk. On Sunday May 2nd at 2:00 PM there will be a virtual ceremony. Participants are encouraged to participate in an activity on that day (the walk is typically 5 kilometer but feel free to choose your own adventure!) If you register by April 1st a t-shirt will be delivered to the team captain (Pat Hauser) and we will make arrangements for safe delivery to participants prior to May 2nd. PRIZES!! This year there are 3 chances to win Visa cards (up to $2,000!). The first way is to register by April 1st so don’t delay!
